Differential lock switch install help.

I recently bought a 94 T4R and I was under it working on it and noticed the plug in for it hanging and saw the sensor was broke. So i bought new one from dealer and wanting to install it.

Is their anything in particular i need to do or is it just loosen old one and tighten new one on?
Was also curious on what kind of fluid i should buy for front differential and how much do i need.

I did a ton of searching and found very little info on this part.

A locking diff on a 2nd gen, and on the front? Your not confusing this with ABS sensor are you? Naw, that would be silly.

Or are you thinking the clutch start cancel button?

it comes right off the front diff almost in the middle. I will take a pic of it.
its also a automatic.

Kinda hard to tell, but probably the ADD 4WD indicator switch.

Recently replaced the whole front diff on mine. The new diff didn't have that, so I sqitched te one off my old diff. No issue, just switch.

ok thanks. Im hoping to install next week. But i just found out i am eligible for a recall so may just have dealership do it while its in.
