New product announcement from Dirt King Fabrication in San Diego, CA - Boxed Upper Control Arms for the 2003+ 4Runner (Fits Tacoma, FJ)

If you’re thinking of lifting your vehicle these arms are a must. These upper control arms increase caster for proper alignment and improved handling. They feature a fully boxed design that offers maximum strength and replace the factory ball joints with 1" stainless steel uniballs. The uniballs are lined with Teflon to help prevent noise. DK fully assembles their arms and include detailed instructions making installation quick and easy.

How do these compare to Camburg or some of the others on the market? Is there an advantage with these over the Camburg that have been tested for years and proven reliable?

We think that you get much more bang for your buck with the dirt king. The Camburg arms are a great product, but they do not offer heim inner equipped arms at this time. There is no other boxed arm with heim innners costing under 700 on the market that we can think of.

Finally got mine on and aligned! The fitment is great, zero install issues. Parts are very high quality, welds are great, arms seem very strong. Install instructions are some of the best I have ever read, super clear and list all torque specs you need.

Alignment went good, I am not 100% how much they helped with caster, as I did not align it with and without. For my set up (I think im around 3" lift in front) the arms got caster pretty close to spec. It rides great and I am overall very happy.

(Sorry for turned pics, I am super lacking in computer/tech skills and have no clue how to fix)

Heim is the ultimate in adjustability. The polys will work tho
