Since everyone has a build thread.....
Let's start with this. I've been a GM tech since I was 18 and I'm about to be 50...
Anyway, I'm a single parent and my teenage son lives with me. We had 2 trucks, a regular cab 1500 and a 2500 crew cab we used for my son's racecar. Until my new job and shift change, I rode mtn bikes 3-5 times a week, so the bike was always locked on the back of my truck and not far from my view. If not, I drove the big truck with the bike inside, worked really well, not so great on mpg. I started looking at 4Runners because I knew it would be better for my lifestyle. I wasn't quite ready until one of my favorite bikes was stolen off the back of my truck in the USPS employee parking lot. I fixed that, went and bought a really sweet 3rd gen that had some nice mods and left it as is. Then worse case scenario, I totaled it. I decided to look at 4th gens. I borrowed my gf's spare car. Everyday we looked for 4R's. She drove a really nice Edge with a really sweet $500 payment.
In April we made a list of 4R's (out of state), and went on a mission. Within an hour of getting in Atlanta, She bought a sweet 06' 4x4 v6 that I couldn't afford. We spent the next 36 hours looking for one for me. I had given up, My son was working at Atlanta motor speedway for Dale Jarrett, since we were in the area for that we decided to look at one that was on her list and that didn't make my list.... Turns out the records of dealership service were amazing.
So in the final hour, I bought my current 4R.
So here we go, I'll bring it up to speed and show you where it's at and catch up while my current project is going to take a couple of weeks.
Day one...
Week one.

Week two, Daystar level kit.
Also week two, Flowmaster 50 series and new tail pipe.
