Dissolved Transfer Case Bushing/Gasket Part #?

Hi all,

I have started diving into the transmission replacement and transfer case R&R. Upon taking the shifter linkage out, I realize that I've got some sort of leak coming from the top of my transfer case (which has been leaking since before I bought it 8 years ago). I pulled out the transfer case shifter and boy, it's a mess. Something is so far gone and dissolved I don't even know what it was to begin with. Anyone know what part number I should be buying?

EDIT: I am ordering the Marlin Crawler shifter seat so that's one part down. Anyone know the part number of the rubber washer that sits below that? Mine is toast.

Also, I need the hose that is attached to the hose barb at the bottom. Some yahoo punched a hole in it when this transmission was replaced before. I think it's part number 9090445005 but would love confirmation as well. It's a odd shaped hose that is shaped like an unused staple, like for a stapler.

Will do. Wasn't aware it had a breather valve so will put that on the part list. I've done the diff breathers too as I know their significance in preventing seals blowing out.

The oil deflector part number listed in the write up linked above are incorrect for your transfer case. You’ll need 36108-35060 and 36345-35050. I ran into that problem when I installed a different transfer case in my 2000. Marlin crawler makes a shifter seat as well Heavy Duty Shifter Seat, Forward Shift | Marlin Crawler, Inc..

Thanks, yes I did notice there was a difference so I ordered the correct oil deflector and gasket set. I went ahead and just ordered the Marlin Crawler bushing as that's the next piece. Do you know where I could get the rubber washer/gasket that sits below it? Mine is destroyed as you can see it in the photo where it slipped into the hole and was crushed in half.

When you install the Marlin seat you do not need the rubber washer. There isn't room for it anyway.

Like JZiggy said the Marlin Crawler seat replaces all of that

Thanks guys, I've done a lot of things on 4Runners but this is all new to me. Always something new to learn! I really do appreciate the response as I was losing some sleep over it last night as I wasn't sure I was going to be able to fix it, not without going MacGyver on it.
