Appreciate all the comments and just wanted to bring a hopefully detailed install video to my fellow forum members. I know products are often imitated, but hey thats a sign that it works. Some people just don’t have the budget for higher dollar brackets. I know they make even cheaper brackets than these on amazon for those on even less of a budget.

I am not paid for this review and install just bringing reviews of products on the market and hopefully helping people get things installed easier through a detailed video. I will also do comparison videos in the near future, putting products head to head. I will remain unbiased regardless, if its junk its junk.

Again I appreciate the comments, negative or otherwise.

They are low profile. Definitely a clean look. I am not sure if they plan to produce them for the OG 4Runners, but it appears they are just getting started with their bracket lineup so it’s possible they may produce it in the future.

are you planning on installing any ditch lights using an aftermarket switch like CH4x4? I know a lot of people wire them to switch pros or something similar but I haven't seen many installs using a cab toggle switch. I've seen some people use the CH4x4 and not use an inline fuse, which confuses me. they wire directly to power. on my ARB compressor I fused with 3amps like many others did.

whether the product is a copy, similar or whatever, more install videos help the community and dummies like me figure stuff out haha so thanks for the video

I just did a full install on a Auxbeam switch panel on my F150. Other than running the wire to the switch panel through the firewall, its all the same. I will email you the PDFI created for it. If you PM me. Its to large a file one to upload. A switch panel install for the 4runner is definitely on my to-do list. Hope to help. I also have a vdeo on my channel going over the features of that panel.

mine are wired to a ch4x4 oem style switch. power from the battery with a fuse, to a relay, then to the switch and lights.

so the green wire on the CH4x4 is wired directly to the power on the harness? did you not need a 3 amp fuse. my arb compressor CH4x4 switch green wire has an add a fuse with a 3amp fuse to ignition, and the arb compressor itself has a 40amp fuse near the battery connection. you don't need a similar set up with the ditch lights? is it because the lights draw less than 3 amps?

are the lights wired to a CH4x4 style switch or to an spod/similar setup. I like the idea of an spod but I just don't have enough electronics to hook up to it to justify one. just have my air compressor and maybe thinking of a set of ditch lights for the occasion when I'm on the rural roads at night

This is what mine are hooked too...the fuse box that comes with the Auxbeam has built in relays and of course you have the 60amp breaker running to the battery. The accessories themselves run to the + and - within that fuse panel box and correspond to the switch on the panel inside the truck.

There is only one wire from that fuse panel box (mounted in the engine bay area) that runs into the the cab through the firewall to the actual Auxbeam switch panel, that powers and is used to control the accessories...

the relay handles the power. from battery to the lights. the switch wire from the relay to the switch is just a trigger wire. so yea, its not 3 amps.

haha that's what everyone does. chop and connect to the CH4x4 or similar switches. it could be the way the ARB compressor is wired that requires the fuse.

Because they put so much R&D into bending a steel bracket….
