Would be ideal, IMO, to have the ability to open the rear hatch and window from within.

Once you roll down the rear window you can just reach out and open it using the exterior latch.

Yup, thought of that, and might just go that route instead of both...

I've used rear hatches as an umbrella-like shelter in rain and snow while accessing gear, sitting-down to lace-up boots, etc. With that, in inclement weather, would be nice to open the hatch from within, remaining sheltered from the elements (window up/closed)...

Prefer to have both, the ability to operate the hatch and window internally.

So the kit included a everything you need, besides the tools needed for installation. The mechanics of how the Interior Hatch Release works is all included in the DIY video, which comes with the purchase of a kit.

I hand-make all these levers to ensure that it doesn’t prevent the window from rolling down all the way. Installation is very simple, and should take 45-60 minutes using the video. Hope this helps!

Right now, two options are available: gray and orange.

that picture helps..I assumed it was a lever down low that opened...thus my question about bumping it and opening it...so that switch in your post must be for a window opening switch I assume.
Otherwise now to me it looks like you have a pull up strap to open the door.

this will be a big help when camping...that and more lights in the back

Exactly! That window switch is for my window. And the handle strap is what opens the tailgate!

Possibly in the near future. The window switch mod is quite simple. You just need a switch, harness, and wires.
