No, it's not just him.

Why would you want to paint your 4Runner with a roller? That would look like complete ass.

It's one thing for a military vehicle to have a flat or slapped-on paintjob (which is done not only out of utility but also tactical reasons), but why would you *choose* to do that on a daily driver?

Is the purpose to have a very durable paint that can be touched up if it gets scratched up while off roading?

Haha using a roller is perfect, you have never applied a bedline..

If I tried to spray it, it would be uneven and have streaks, and then with gloss, trust me it wouldn't work with me.
Also spray won't hold up as long as Bedliner.

As for why, looks, duh, also my paint is bad, also bedliner will make removing dents super easy, I have a few.

Just drill hole pull, and bed liner is thick enough to fill the rest. Will also fill the holes left from pulling my limited trim.

When I'm done working 7 days a week you'll see..

they sell spray cans of camo over at autozone.

i have been thinking of taking off the rear spoiler, the tow hitch, and the front skid plate and giving it a try.

i hadn't thought of doing the entire truck because my OE paint is still nice.
