It's the one right off Custer and 121. No KDSS - it's impossible to find in TX.

I just had the FJ suspension installed with 1.5" rear springs and a 1/2 inch Toytec spacer up front (extra 1/4 inch driver side). TRDP wheels wrapped in 285s. I have some minor fender rubbing upfront at full lock on a hill.

Here is the finished product. Bad picture though. It's now at Drivers Edge getting an alignment and I'm killing time with a beer at Market St. Cheers!

Sweet. You went with the 285s...I’m jealous! I was nervous about too much rub and went safe with the 275s, lol. I was just over in Frisco earlier, but on the northwest side. I hit up the bike trails over there.

Now I’m at Longo Toyota in Prosper getting a broken lug stud repaired on the front driver’s side wheel, as well as getting the wheels/tires re-balanced. Only 2k miles on the truck and I looked down at the wheel and noticed a lug missing. Upon further inspection, the stud snapped and I haven’t even done any crazy off-roading yet, haha. Oh well, they are taking care of me and fixing it for free. Unfortunately, there’s nothing around here so no cold brew for me while I wait

I wouldn't be too jealous. I was back and forth between 275s and 285s. They both look great on our trucks. I actually had 275s special ordered but the guys at Discount convinced me to go with 285s. They test fitted and said no rub. Unfortunately they were wrong.

Hoping I can take a heat gun to the fender and get rid of the rubbing....

BTW, digging your headlights. Would you say someone without much wrenching experience could install them? Don't laugh!

Absolutely man...in fact, you are right down the road so if there is ANYTHING that you are interested in doing to yours, then I am more than happy to give a hand! I have a nice little setup in my garage with plenty of tools and we can knock out whatever you want to do. I am pretty mechanically inclined so don’t hesitate to ask man, I’m happy to help with anything I am capable of doing. Lights are pretty straight forward, shouldn’t take more than an hour for heads, fogs, and high beams. Add another 30 minutes or so if you want to do all of the interior lights with LEDs. Just let me know!

Also, I can show you what I ended up doing to my fenders as my tires were just BARELY rubbing, but it bothered me so I made some changes. I could even clear bigger tires than the ones I have now. No issues at all since I did that.

Back in black...

After blacking out all of the logos and cutting out my front valance to fit the new bumper, my rear valance was extremely out of place being silver in color. I pulled the bumper, removed the pins behind the valance, and completely separated it to prep it. Once removed, I scuffed up the clear coat a bit and sprayed it with some adhesion promoter. Then added the etching primer and several generous coats of satin black paint. Set the valance back in the bumper, put the pins back in place, and mounted the bumper back on the runner. She's getting there.

Factor 55...

When I was shopping for wenches, I couldn't help but to notice all of the cool options they offered to replace the hook with. I looked at many different products, but Factor 55's stuff just really caught my eye. They have a bunch of different models to chose from, but the FlatLink seemed to fit my needs the best and looked cool as well. I went with the red one from amazon, to take advantage of prime shipping again: https://www.amazon.com/Factor55-Fla...vlocphy=21147&hvtargid=pla-351436895017&psc=1. The particular winch I got didn't allow for easy removal of the hook that came with it so I had to cut it off, no big deal. Once off, the Factor 55 went on with ease and took about 2 minutes to install. I'm loving the look and have gotten multiple compliments on it already.
