Do 5th gen suspension fits 3rd gen?

In particular, will a 2015 SR5 suspension fit a 1997 4cyl base?

I may be upgrading my 2015's suspension, and is wondering if I can take my near brand new 2015 suspension parts and get them onto my 1997.

Any help will be appreciated.

Correct. The rear shocks do.

The factory rear shocks will fit from a 4th/5th gen or a FJ but they are longer so you are going to need at least a 2 inch lift

why wouldnt the springs fit as well? the fj springs fit.

@op give us the dimensions of the rear springs. diameter of top and bottom, and overall length.
