Do I have Toytect Ultimate coils? I believe so

So a couple weeks ago, I installed the Daystar 2.5/1.5 with "stock" FJ spring all the way around. Here is the result. As you can see, the ass end sat really high



Here is the picture of the stock 4Runner coils and the coils that I bought from a guy (he said they were stock).



Apparently they're aftermarket coils. So as I was perusing other lifts (already haha) I came across the Toytec Ultimate lift. After seeing this picture, I think I may have the coils from a Toytec Ultimate kit. What do you all think?



I counted the coils and they're right about the same. SO when my tires wear out, I know which route I'm going. Would it be cheaper to go ahead and buy the kit? Or can I piece it together cheaper by buying the rear shocks and front coilovers separately? Hypothetically speaking, of course

That's what I did and ended saving hundreds of dollars. You can buy component parts individually from Toytec.

Used front coils -$75 (almost new)
Set of 5100s - $300+ (new)
Superflex rear springs - $200 (new)
Profit!

Want 3" lift? Order some rear spacers and crank up the front 5100s to your preferred height.

I was going to go the FJ springs route, then I luckily stumbled on the Toytec coils and the rest was set in stone.

I'm not an expert, but on first glance those do look the same and both appear to have 8 winds.

Are there no markings at all on the coils?

I have the Daystar spacers on the rear with the stock coils. When I had the spacers and aftermarket coils installed in the rear, I ran out of shock travel. All I would need back there are longer shocks and the rear is already done

One coil has a red mark and a white mark on them, but no writing or any other markings at all

Not 100% on this but I think the TT coils have writing that says toytec superflex or something along those on it.

Yeah, Superflex springs don't have color band markings. Just part #s.

Damn, still a mystery. Oh well. Longer shocks in the rear and a good set of coilovers up front and I'll be good to go (in the future haha)
