I must have my wires crossed somehow. I can't find the OEM Off-Road wheels on that site and I just called my local dealership and they tried to tell me the wheels for $516 a PIECE.

I also purchased mine through the dealer. the price you just posted is high, not high enough for 4, but way too high for 1... maybe call around?

I run a 255/80r17 spare ST MAXX in the stock location and it clears everything fine at full pressure. That tire size doesn’t hang down as far as a 285, but still works as a spare for 285/70r17 since they are all roughly 32.8” in diameter.

I"m running 285 ko'2 on my spare steelies.

I don't care to much about matching rims as I do care about matching tires. That tire will live a nice comfy life under there until the day I need it,.

Looks like I'll be getting a fifth KO2 to replace the OEM spare. I do like the idea of rotating it in during rotations. I wonder what the chances of me finding a single stock TRD Off-Road wheel are :thumb3:

Check Ebay for your spare wheel.

Ahhh I have the V6 and the hitch is smaller. You might be able to swap the V8 hitch for the V6 if you don’t tow over 3,500 pounds often. You probably have the weight distribution hitch which takes up the extra space needed for the 255/80. At least now you have an excuse for a bumper with swingout!

Gotcha, forgot the hitches were different. I have a KnuckleBone hitch mount tire carrier on the way.

I’m getting ready to buy a set of 285/70/17 BFG KO2’s. I’m debating buying a fifth to put in place of the factory spare under my 4Runner. For those of you running aftermarket tires on your T4R, do you carry a matching spare?

Yes! I highly recommend getting a full-size spare, matching of course. There are a few options you could explore... My buddy I wheel with has a 2018 TRD ORP and has his full underneath. I, however, got a Wilco Offset and love it.

I really like the looks of those Wilco hutch gates. I just wish there was an easy solution to use a rear tire mount without sacrificing the backup camera.

Agreed. However, you CAN remount a backup camera. My buddy (@papabeach) mounted his backup camera on a mount he installed on his rear CBI bumper that hangs above his spare.

I did a search for "2019 4runner trd off road wheel" and got 2 to come up in a list of TRD parts, a matte gray and a matte black.

Yes I did a search. The results you've mentioned are the TRD Pro wheels, not the TRD Off-Road wheels.

I put a 285/70R-17 spare under mine. Fits fine. Probably cuts back on the departure angle just a bit though.

For cost and weight reasons, I put a Discount Tire Pathfinder AT P-rated under there. I put this on too. Hitch Skid. I haven't tested it yet to see if the dirt hits it first or not but it is a good step to access the back top and can be used for recovery. Also can be used as a wheel chock.

Nice looking hitch skid... I REALLY like this one...
