Do you guys keep survival gear in your rigs?

I keep my toyota first aid kit(bandaids,sprays,tape,gauze,needles and such) from the olf fj, axe, shovel, and hi lift along with on board air and jumper cables, winch controler and tow straps in the 4runner at all times. along with full tool box, duct tape, motor oil and antifreeze..I am sure there is more back there, but i keep it all neat.
when we head out... always have food + water along with topo maps and always text someone the trail coordinates of where me and the wife are heading.
even though I usually get the " what the **** is this?" from my parents when I text them

Pretty much this, except I don't generally drive around town with the tools/recovery gear/spares.

I carry enough tools to rebuild your truck. If I could just drag a parts trailer behind me I would be set.
Water, Clothes, MREs, First Aid, Knife, Gun, Fluids, Fluid Pump, Shelter, Fire Starter, Fire Log, Maps, Compass, Mirror, ERG, Fire Ext, Gloves, Flash Light, Self Powered Radio with USB Charger and phone cable, Inverter, etc,.....

Full recovery gear bag. Axe shovel hi lift. Booster pack and jumper cables. Spare front axle and one spare of every steering part. Spare belts. 20 liters of water. Fluids, rad fix a leak. Tools to fix everything but a engine failure. Have it all packed in a Stanley rolling toolbox.

A decent amount of tools, I'll grab more if I'm about to do something I know might break something. Radiator hoses, All fluids, Knives, All kinds of rope, Tarp, Extra set of clothes including boots and a jacket, Recovery straps, Rags, Matches and a lighter, electrical wire, Some water and a little bit of jim beam tucked up safely :naughty::beer:

A case of Miller Lite on ice can be found on ice in the back of my rig.....on most days :cheers:
If so, what do you keep? And how do you have it stored?
I have a knife, thermal blanket, 1st aid kit, .40cal pistol (for hunting purposes), change of clothes, protein bars, water etc.
In both of my truck I carry the following between the glove box, side cuby, roof rack, and Large ARB Bag.

I don't often carry Tools unless I plan on going wheeling or camping, I find that most if the crap I carry can help me or others in most situations. When I go to Colorado or Oklahoma I take extra CV, Two tool bags, lots of water, and other doodads to help insure I come home.
