Don't let my wife find out! She gave that name to her Quicksand TRD Pro (for obvious reasons).

My 2002 started as "Ol' Bill," because that sounds like an easy-going, non-nonsense kindof gentlemen that likes to be on his own and get things done. But, she grew up knowing an older man named bill whom she didn't like, so we settled on "Earl."

But yes, in plain conversation we do refer to them as "Sandy" and "Earl."

A name, no. A nickname, yes. Mud-Runner, since we got stuck in the mud the day following the purchase of the truck!

I never gave a name to my cars, even if I really "connect" with the object, especially my beloved Volvo C30 <3 (aka THE car I always wanted). Had to sell it prior to my move to the US, still miss it!

Frank. As in Frankenstein, because it has mismatched body panels. Same color, but from a different truck so it's a slightly different shade that's noticeable in full sun anyway.

That and I plan on putting plate bumpers on it, as well as other mods that will change it's looks from stock.
