Do you leave your front license plate on?

The whole time I was in the military, I had my vehicles registered in Illinois, which requires a front plate to be mounted. I did this because insurance was always cheaper.

Anyway, I never kept my front plates on because I think it looks better with them off, but would put the plate on when I would travel back into the state to see my family. There was a time or two where I forgot to put the plate back on and was lucky to not get pulled over. They are extremely anal in that state and although I had a great life growing up, I would NEVER even consider living there now as an adult.
It's a nice place to visit, but that's it.

I think it's kind of dumb that some staes require it, and some don't. But now I keep my front plate on full time because I have my vehicle registered in the same state that I live in - Texas. Hopefully gonna be moving out soon. LOL!

No plate on any car I've owned, it messes up the look of the car. I got pulled over once and just straight up told the officer I will never put a plate on this car no matter how many times you pull me over. He let me go with a warning, been fine ever since
