Does 2006 Limited have lighted door panel controls?

I want to buy a used 4Runner Limited V6 4WD. My budget puts me in the 2005-2006 range. I read a comment on a website from an owner saying the 2005 does not have lighted door panel buttons. Can anyone tell me if the 2006 has lighted door panel buttons? I think it is strange that a 2005 would not have lighted door panel buttons because my 99 Camry has them.

Nope, the Auto letting on the driver's side window button is lighted but the rest of the controls aren't. This is true for all 4th gens.

A few members have installed an LED in the handle that shined down on the buttons.

Personally I just got used to where the switches were and haven't had any problems. This also means I'm not looking away from the road for switches.

What gaterose said. Mine is a 2006 Limited too. It seemed dark for the first week or so but now I find the driver's window is the only one I need to find on a regular basis anyway. I get a coffee at a drive-thru every morning on the way to work and have no complaints.

Well, I feel stupid. I was wrong about the Camry. It doesn't have lighted buttons. I just purchased a 2004 4Runner V6 4WD Stratosphere Mica and of course I have no problem working the buttons because they are identical to the 99 Camry. In fact the headlight, windshield wiper and cruise controls are all virtually identical to the Camry.
