does any1 run 1.5" spacers or should i stick to 1.25's??

i have an 08 SR5 with a toytec 3/2 spacer lift i run 285/70r17 tires and rub a little on the uca mostly when im backing out of tight parking spaces and stuff
i have pushed my fender lining forward & chopped my body mounts but im wondering if i could run 1.5" spacers and still clear the plastic fenders...or should i stick to a 1.25" ??

I would stick with 1.25" wheel spacers. You could always go with a wheel that has a greater offset in addition to the spacers (like the FJ wheels) but I would suggest new UCA's before you went that route. Not only will aftermarket UCA's most likely eliminate your rubbing issue, but you would also have more adjustability to get your alignment within factory specs.

yea i plan on getting uca's one day but thats a tad bit more money then i want to spend now...ive also thought about doing 1.25s in the front and 1.5s in the back seems how the 4runner's fat ass is wider then the front ...any thoughts on that?

Agreed. Make sure to use the "shank style" schnuts for added security, mainly on the front. You could add them to the rear but it's not a necessity. By schnuts..I mean nuts. Oh look it's a llama--> :llama:

for the fronts stick with 1.25", I have 1.5" all the way around and even with stock tires and a daystar 2.5/1.5, I rub the front inner lining when turning full lock backing off the driveway

yea thats what im getting im gonna get 1.25 up front & 1.5 in the rear....apparently the rear axle is .5 of an inch shorter then the front also( atleast thats what ive heard) gonna order some AllPro spacers on the 15th of this month
