Actually I'm very happy with Gobi. When I emailed Sandra she replied to be within an hour each time.

I agree if you email Gobi with the standard email you won't get an reply. Working with Sandra I'm very happy with their costumer service.

Best to just call Sandra. Nothing new as to their complete confusion of that magic box sitting on their desk where messages appear out of thin air. Must be the devil's work :smash:

I 2nd this. Great product but you MUST be proactive. They may as we'll not even have a computer at Gobi USA...you must call and stay on top of it.

:deadhorse:

Agreed. Sandra was responsive responding via email after calls... but not replying to my actual emails. In fact, I don't think I ever got one reply from an email I sent.

100% top knotch product though and could not be happier. Gobi is Grade AAA. :thumb3:

After visiting and sitting at the shop several times while I got my Gobi installed, I can tell you that no one sits at the front desk. Occasionally you will be able to get someone but otherwise, take luck. That being said, after talking with Paul and seeing the shop and people there. The quality is amazing and worth every penny.

I'll admit that it does help living a mile down the road from the shop if I do happen to need something though.

Could you do me a favor and just stop by and ask where my stealth, ladder, visor and awning brackets are...I mean, if you're going that way.

Hell, anybody can answer that question for ya. "They shipped out yesterday and you should have them later this week for sure."

I'm pretty sure Sandra tells everybody this every day, every time.:lalala:

I had no issues getting in contact with Gobi. I would usually get ahold of them within 2 calls and they were always very quick to respond via email, but I might have just been one of the lucky ones.

A lot of these off-road companies have a high tendency to be arrogant. They seem to be making too much money to care about customer service & retention. I've had issues with almost all and I've dealt with over a dozen companies while modifying my truck in the past year.

Maybe something has changed in 7 years since this thread was made.
