Does Toyota Sell Color Keyed Side Mirrors?

Hi guys,

I have a 2006 4Runner that's natural white with black side mirrors.

I was wondering if Toyota sells white side mirrors for the factory? If not, what finish does Toyota sell?

I'm debating between having mine painted white Vs buying new, but need to first check pricing between the two.

Any part number info would be helpful.

I think it may be cheaper to get your mirrors painted.

BUT

Yes Toyota does sell color coded exterior mirrors, I'm guessing your paint color is White Pearl since there isn't another white listed for 4th Gens, it also doesn't say if these are the heated or non-heated mirrors.
These are the best prices I have seen by a few dollars but you can do a search with the part numbers to see if you can find a better price, also if you decide to order new painted mirrors I would suggest contacting the seller to make sure these are heated mirrors or not before placing your order.

I looked for mirrors for the Sport/Limited model, I see you have a XSP, which isn't listed and the mirrors would probably be only listed/sold as black anyway since that's what came on your T4R XSP.

There were two whites available:

03-09: Natural White (color code 056)
08-09: Pearl White (color code 070)

To the eye, there isn't a huge difference between the two. The Toyota Pearl isn't like Lexus pearl which looks very different than white.

I wonder why your link isn't showing mirrors for the natural white color?

In any case, at just over $200 per side, I'm betting that it probably is more cost effective to paint my existing mirrors rather than buy new, like you said.

Yes they do. Call or go the dealer and give them your vin # and it will be painted to match

I did my 08 SR5. The part numbers you need for both mirrors are:

87910-35630-A1
87940-35630-A1

They are the 056 paint code.

Put the codes into Google and find out which dealer will sell you them the cheapest. Camelback Toyota works for me. These is a ?% off somewhere on the TacomaWorld forum for Camelback; it alludes me now but I will find it.

I have all of the part numbers to change the door handles, grill, mirrors, and the part above the license plate over to 056 paint code.

I ended up buying the grill new on eBay and the door handles new from Toyotapartsdeal.com (I see the prices are today just slightly different than what I show below). Here are the part numbers I ordered:

White Limited Grill:
53100-35A03-A0


White Door Handles:

Handle Main Assembly
69211-28070-A2 x 4 -> $27.74 each

Handle Sub Assembly
69217-60020-A0 x 1 (PF) -> $7.53 each
69217-28010-A2 x 1 (DF) -> $5.60 each
69227-60020-A0 x 2 (PR and DR) -> $7.53 each

Pads that go between handle and body
69241-28060 x 4 -> $0.82 each
69242-60030 x 4 -> $7.67 each

The trim piece above the lic plate I bought used on eBay and installed it yesterday. Install took about 30-45min.

Let me know if all those numbers above are consistent with what you are showing.

Also, for the pads that go between the door handles and body, I assume those are always black? you can just barely see them peaking from under the door handles. I was wondering if those come available in white. Does anyone know if the White 06-09 Limited/Sport comes from the factory with black pads under the handles?

FWIW, I had black mirrors on my SR5 but just took them off (which is easy) and apart (really nothing to it if you have a screwdriver) did a few stages of sanding, primered and painted with color matched paint then a few coats of clear coat. I ordered a kit off scratchwizard.net for like $40 and it came with everything--sand paper, primer, paint and clear and was enough to do both mirrors.

Really can't even tell they didn't come that way. For the money, probably the best upgrade I've done aside from plasty-dipping the grille black (left the badges alone).

Just an FYI I talked to my local paint shop that I have used in the past and they stated 2-250 for both mirrors. So might want to call your local shop.

Looks like they raised their prices--the full kit had been ~40$ about a year ago, now it's ~60$. Still much cheaper than the body shop option. Good luck!
