Thanks, Brian! No flooding issues--the room is on the second floor. I guess I've just always put the tower up high like that--easier to see the media slots below the drives, I guess. With my luck, I'd kick it or spill something on it if it was down low--LOL!

27 inches is enough monitor for me. one day i'll have one or two more macs lined up so i can have one for each application: Logic, Photoshop, Final Cut.

also whataburger is the best in the entire world, leaving BK and McD's in the dust.

I've got a 30" cinema display sitting right next to that same 27"er. You'd be amazed, and ruined, if you were to sit at it for any period of time. Unfortunately, gotta give em up when I leave the company at the end of this month.

Real estate/business brokerage. I regularly review huge excel files and high end graphics quality docs and brochures. The 30" is used for excel files 98% of the time.

I will never understand why EXCEL is so finicky about multiple windows. Like how you can drag word files but you have to **** around with the EXCEL to get it in multiple windows. If you have 2007 and try and use it on multiple windows you know what I am talking about.

Never really have problems out of it really. The most recent version of excel though has a bug in it that uses a funky way of labelling the columns from time to time. It's an easy fix, but had me somewhat confused for about a month.

Is what you're describing an excel or windows thing?
