Door cup protectors?

Hello all,

On my last car, the pull to open door cups got all scratched up by fingernails after a couple years. Now on this white T4R I want to prevent that same thing so was looking at options. It seems the reviews for most of the door cup protectors are pretty bad, unless they are custom fit. I couldn't find custom fit for the T4R, but these universal fit seem to do ok(although one is only 2 reviews). Just curious if anyone had any suggestions from somewhere else on this that worked well? Otherwise I will probably just order these install proz.

I've found that the slight marks always just buff out with a light cleaner, like Meguiar's cleaner/wax....

Door cup holders

Not sure what kind of car you had that made pulling on the door cup holders necessary. The cup holders on the T4R doors are low on the door and not where you'd grab to close the door. I use the cup holders for plastic sports water bottles and occasionally a traveling coffee mug. The doors don't show any signs of wear after 2&1/2 years.

Yeah the meguiars cleaner wax did a good job of making the marks less noticeable on my last car(Subaru), but by the end of a 3 year lease the scratches had gone through the clearcoat, especially on my wifes side, and even the cleaner wax didn't help much other than making the marks less grey.

he is referring to the door handle cups (the indented area on the door behind the door handles) not the door cup holders.

Maybe look into clear bra or vinyl for that area.
