Correct. Back pressure and scavenging are two different things. One is needed, the other one isn't.

The first time I saw that video posted on a 4Runner facebook group, he was specifically asking about the smoke after installing the exhaust. So... at least he was concerned.

That's a DIFFERENT customer of mine
Not the same guy. He has a full Gibson catback exhaust I sold him. The other customer has no exhaust with straight pipes. If I remember this guy has bad os sensor. Thanks for the link as I never saw that post before.4RunnerIdiot

I figured the comment about smoke was about the third video you posted, which is the exact same video as the one in that facebook post.

Oh! yea, thats diff customer. I posted that just to show what the Gibson sounds like and it makes it much quieter than the straight pipes video and NO exhaust. Lol, that will be too loud for most people, without an exhaust...

You need scavenging, you don't want back pressure.

Wasn't being a dick, she's a worthless beast, just like her wife. Open headers do not produce more power than a full exhaust regardless of the reason.

320 from the crankshaft, dyno numbers are always lower due to drivetrain losses.
