'Drive' indicator light is out

So the 'D' on my 2002 4Runner's instrument panel is out. I'll put the truck in Drive but the 'D' is no longer illuminated (pic attached).
Is this an easy fuse fix or do I need to dig in behind the panel to replace a bulb?
Thanks

Pull out the gauge cluster and replace the bulb. If it were a fuse more than one bulb wouldn't work.

this is really easy to do, i swapped mine out with a different bulb that i didnt need behind the dash for 4x4 indicator and it finally works again! Took about 20 minutes but I pulled a few other bulbs that took time for me to find haha

It's something that practically everyone with a 4runner this age has to do at least once.

Pulling the cluster isn't difficult, but once you do it, it's best to replace every bulb back there, that way you won't have to worry about it for a very long time. Bulbs can be found at just about any auto parts store...
