Hey there 4runner peeps! This is a great forum and I'm happy to have joined with all. I just purchased 1999 4runner limited-200K m. Great vehicle-in love, however in need of some engine + repairs amounting $1250. Paid $5.5 in So. Cali. She's clean inside-out, runs well, sounds good except...
Purchased warranty on engine, transmission @ $1.3K (seems worthless) since it won't address the issues @ hand (engine & trans). Thinking to cancel
the policy and using money for the repair needed (oil pan gasket/ valve gasket/beginning leak trans fluid). I'm a novice (of course) but I trust
from research I have a sound vehicle. Welcome any advice to care for my vehicle. Thanks in advance. :lookout:
