Driver's side rear panel sub enclosure?

Has anyone done this? I haven't been into the panel yet so I have no idea if there's space to create an enclosure. I'm looking for ideas to add an additional 8" keeping a stock look.

Cheers!

Yes it has been done, and it's located on the passenger's rear side panel. Welcome to the forum and don't forget to utilize the "Search" feature towards the top of the page. Majority of questions will be answered.

Here is an example.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I already have the passenger side. I want to add an additional 8" and was hoping someone had ideas or had used the drivers side rear panel. I've used search, including the Google "site:toyota-4Runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/ speaker enclosure" and came up empty.

Thank you.

i think you'll find it'll be pretty tight, the panel on the drives side houses the tire iron, spare tire crank, and jack, so its kinda cramped already, you'd have to go closer to the seat in order to find room. at minimum you'd need to dynamite and build a wooden or fiberglass mount, and you'd need a reduced depth sub
