Drop bracket on 4runner??

Anybody here run a drop bracket on their runner?

I have friend who has tacoma and tundra who run those and they can reach 6 inch.

Any thought or photos on this?

The problem with the 4runner is the 4 link rear end. Tacoma and Tundra are leaf sprung and therefore can put blocks or leaf modifications to get the rear up. You might be able to get the front 6 inches but the rear would be a challenge.

4-link with track bar but otherwise you are correct^

You would definitely need an extended track bar, you could put spacers over the coils and if they were welded in it would probably be fine. Plenty of people have done drop brackets on 4Runners with the Taco brackets, and there might be kits for the rear--but anything is possible with some ingenuity and fabricating

As for thoughts, don't do it. They have very few improvements performance wise (approach/departure/break over angles and just raw height if you were gonna cross a river, that's about it). Course, if you're doing it purely for looks there is also nothing wrong with that!

The other problem with a drop bracket is cutting out the crossmember and bolting a flimsy one in.....
