Dumb question, but how much lower is a car worth after accident history report?

I am looking for a daily driver since my 4Runner which I just bought last month gets 18mpg. My commute to school is 80 miles roundtrip. Saw a nice Honda but Carfax showed it had a moderate accident according to the highway patrol. I guess it got hit in the rear passenger side. Car was repaired and sold as a certified car the year after. How much less is it worth? I assume there was no frame damage if the dealer certified it. I really dont want a car that was in anything more than a bumper change. But now it's in Carfax so if I sell it, I am sure they will ask me the same questions.

I have no experience in this so if you guys know, it'd be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on what type of price you get it for, as well as what your plans are for it. Obviously, if you're just going to resell it a few years down the road, then it will be worth much less. But, if you're like me and you drive your cars into the ground, then it doesn't matter too much as long as the repair was done well.

I bought a Civic that I knew had been wrecked with 151k, for $1,450. Drove it for over two years, until it had 218k and a slight water leak (not headgasket, not water pump, pressure tested fine.. I was DONE trying to figure it out). Sold it for $2,000. Now, granted I did a lot of things during those two years..little interior odds-and-ends, a clutch, tie rod ends, tires, etc...but I still think I did pretty well!
