Does anyone know the width in the cargo area? I just got offered a stainless box from behind the seat in a pick up and no where need the truck to see if it will fit :brick:

You can find the width of your cargo area with a measuring tape. Hope this helps.

Yes I know that but am working in the shop and my truck is at home (borrowed sons truck to haul a boat home tonight all sorts of deals to be had today)

Should be around 40" or so wide between the wells.

38 3/4" on my 2000 SR5.

Edit: Oops. That's between the wheel wells.
