E-locker fitment

Does anyone know if you can put an e-locker from a 3rd gen into my 1990 2nd gen?

Should be the same grinding and welding modifications it takes to put an elocker diff into a non-elocker 3rd gen housing.

Do you know a thread for that because a guy offered me his E-locker for 400 and I thought that's a pretty good deal, Is it? Are E-lockers durable and would it be worth it?

They're very durable. People run 37s (and bigger) on them with no problems.

just make sure the motor works and it matches your current ratio (if you are putting it in a 4WD)

Bad news. I was gonna buy it and try my hand at a build thread, but I broke my ankle and tore some tendons so I go into surgery tomorrow. Hopefully I heal soon so I can put a well needed locker.
