E-Locker question

I'm lookin at a 99 Runner with an e-locker. Never having one before, I'm not sure how to tell if it's functional. I reckon lockin it and takin off in gravel might tell the story, but I was wonderin when you push the button if it makes an '"engaging" noise or something to let you know it's locked.

It's a 99 Limited with 177,000 miles on it in really nice shape. The current owner said that she never used the locker and assumes it works.

I may have two Runners soon!

Thanks

if she has never used the elocker the actuator may not function very well. But yes it should make a noise and the light should come on indicating that it is locked. but even if it isn't functioning correctly get her to drop some money off the price and pick it up its easier to fix an actuator than retrofit an elocker. Great find if the price is right. Good luck
