I'm in the area what trails were you looking at doing? We are planning on doing some fishing tomorrow, but we would be down for a quick trail run.

oh sorry for the miss understanding but i went out today to eagle lakes/fordyce trail had a good day of wheeling would of been nice if you could of join maybe next time

I'm in Truckee today probably going to hit this trail. can I get to it from I80?

yea the river wasnt too bad if u stay all the way to the left its more shallow I walked across it but just double check for safety but I just wantd to go thru the deep part n yea the trail head is right off I80 exit eagle lakes n turn left follow road to the trail head there be signs if you look up 4x4trailmaps.com the trail is listed there as there are three trails signal peak, eagle lakes n Fordyce creek trail they all share the same trail head but that river crossing is fordyce trail they marked the rock along the trail just follow the orange arrow on the rocks n about 4 miles in u reach the river

about 4 miles in to cadillac hill we turned back and went to the lake. :crybaby:

That's not Cadillac hill silly, its way past that you'll know you are at cadillac hill when you start descending and your butt clinches tight and your fear for falling off the left side which is mere feet away

But you did go some good distance to catch some good views. I personally would highly recommend checking out blackwood canyon. The start of the trail is about a few minutes north on the 89 from when the Rubicon staging area entrance is. Great hill climbs, good trail to do solo. No traffic. Awesome view at the top of the peak of lake tahoe. Check it out trust me
