East Coast inventory and vessel info

Does anybody know the status of 2015 dealer inventory on the east coast? Based on the scheduled port arrival date of my new TE, I have been following the status of the vessel Andromeda Leader since its departure last month. It is now moored in Jacksonville, FL and I believe headed to Newark, NJ. I am not sure how many auto carrier vessels make the run from Toyota Japan to the east coast, but this probably accounts for a good bit of their volume. So I bet there are more than a few 4Rs on board. Curious if it might be the first drop of 2015's up here? Also, does anybody else think they have one of their own on there? If so, here's to our shipmates arriving safely and soon!

um, I know you are excited about getting a new truck and all that, and I'm happy for ya. Truth is, I got a 2015 last week and they have been on sale for months, at least two, so there are thousands already running around out there. Good luck.
 
I was at a Richmond, Virginia dealer for routine service yesterday afternoon and asked where the 2015 4Runners were. I was told they expect them in about two weeks, FYI.

Thousands already sold in the States. Individual dealers make their own inventory plan many months in advance so they might have chosen to wait until later to get them. Good luck getting them to admit it.
 
I'm tracking mine (I sell Toyota) and the Vessel is a bit behind with a bunch of 4Runners for the Chicago region. Port Processing should be done by 10/28. Came into Port yesterday.

I'm not sure if I can see dealer allocation outside the chicago region.

Up here in Ontario, Canada:

I was in the dealership yesterday inquiring about 2015 models and I was told they will be available in two weeks.

Did you find out if you can see dealer allocation in other regions?

My Port date is 10/27. Probably won't get delivery by month end due to processing and port options. If yours in on this boat, same would likely apply to you to. If you had delivery date at month end, maybe you were on a different vessel and you should ask for an update of your VIN, it may be here already. Luckily, in any event, I imagine ours probably get loaded straight onto trucks for delivery to local dealers (and not onto rails) since we are so close to the port.

Shipping Times

Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes for Toyota vehicles to be shipped from Japan to Newark (e.g. a 4 week voyage). I'm trying to see figure out if the delivery estimate I'm receiving from my dealer is consistent with the estimated arrival time of next shipment to Newark.

My vehicle was built sept 11
I believe it arrived in Newark yesterday
7 10 days late
