EAST Overland Expo October 3-5. You going?

One of my buddies just moved to SC, thinking about visiting him and hitting this up. I'm about 60% sure I'll be going.:becky:
 
I went to the one in AZ a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. I'm planning to attend this one as well just haven't nailed down the specifics yet. Should be fun meeting everyone in person!
 
Think i am definetly going to be going to this. Even if i don't get to go on any trails or anything looks like it will be a good time to scout some goodies for the T4R. Look forward to seeing people there
 
Tenatively in for this event... I'm thinking there is a wedding I may have to attend, but I might be getting the dates mixed up. At least I hope I am!
 
I will be there. I've got family in Hendersonville (also a great place to visit, Awesome downtown!) to stay with and it's a 20min drive from there.

Registration is supposed to be open end of may I believe...
 
OK Ladies, only 120 days. Time to start getting your gear together. J-Blick, let me know if you would like to Caravan and we can meet somewhere on the route if you are departing Texas.

I'll be moving back to NC around that time, but I'll definitely let you know. I may use that as my "official" move date. If we did, you would end up with 1000's of pics of your 4runner :hail: I tend to keep my camera at the ready when I'm traveling.
 
All the tracks / obstacle courses at the Overland Expo West you could do in a stock 4Runner. The only stuck vehicle I saw was a 2wd Ford Ranger pickup. He probably would have made it if the person marshaling him let him carry a bit more speed.

It's a great event. Lots to see and learn.

I've been tempted to head out West for the main expo the last couple years- this one may just be perfect timing! Looking forward to the details...
 
Yep, me too, but I am hoping for a little more chatter about it here before. I hope all my running buddies from the east will show.
 
Does anyone have any whisky? This'll be my first time.

My wife and I signed up - looking forward to meeting you all there! Should be a great time.
