We were a vendor at the last Expo in Flagstaff and we are hoping to do the one in North Carolina too. We just need to make sure we get the 2014 4runner designs into production before we can commit.

We'll probably do a similar setup where we install a bumper and other accessories right there at the show on a customer rig or my own if needed. ]

I've looked at this thread a couple times with interest but today realized the site is about two miles from my parents house where I lived for 20 years. I'm going to try and make this, although I would just be looking for day passes as I can roll down the road for a free bed. Heck I go to Asheville every fall anyway to mountain bike an take my kids to my parents, usually fly out but could probably do the drive again. Gotta check with the wife for final decision but would love to meet everyone.

Funny, growing up there I have been to that ranch at least a half dozen times for different events.

Kind of hard to say since it's the first time for the East versions, but the West you can do with a stock 4Runner just fine. Remember, it's a training/learning event. there is a man-made course and some obstacles that are used during classes, but no crazy trails (unless you go do something yourself outside of the expo grounds).

It's a great event thought. My wife got her first offroad driving exposure there and it was a great confidence builder for her.

The 2WD Ford Ranger in the background got stuck on the ledge, but that was more a matter of the spotter not letting him carry enough speed. It did make for a good recovery exercise for the Defender D90 behind him which pulled him out of the pit with a strap.
