Eaton E-locker

I was looking to put a locker in the rear diff of my 93 4runner does anyone have any expierence with the eaton e lockers. Also what size is the stock diff on the 2nd gen 4runners.

Haven't heard anything good or bad, but Eaton has been making lockers for a long time.

The ring gear is 8" like 1st gen.

I had an Eaton Posi in my Ranger and loved it. When I killed the stock rear end I put in a built 8.8 with the Eaton and the thing was unstopable. I think a locker is the best mod if you wheel. You'll know diff right a way. Good luck. Have you check out the Detroit Trutrack?

I haven't looked into the detroit truetrac. The main reason i was looking at the eaton was because it was electronically controlled allowing me to choose when it would be on.

ARB locker?? I would get ARB over Eaton if possible.
