I guy rolled into the shop wanting us to install this guard he bought on ebay. Paid $45 plus $10.50 shipping to northern az.

The metal was full of pitting, looked like corrosion. Anyone know what this could be.

I mentioned to him, Inchworm has theirs on sale for $55 plus shipping. Also, Sky's offroad or sky-manufacturing.com has theirs for $39 plus shipping.

I can't tell from the picture, but is that a cast piece? if so, looks to be a poor casting job and/or they did not machine it afterwords.

He picked it up and told us he's sending it back. It did look like scrap crap and very poor quality metal. I wouldn't trust what this guy brought in.

What's up CM, the buyer showed us emails the seller sent in response to his concern. The seller kinda slammed him for running it by a metal shop for an opinion on quality of the metal. His concern was the metal shop would steal his design lol and others like inchworm and sky offroad where for show because they were powdercoated. I quess make'in enemies is the way to good business. I showed him our Inchworm guard, it's on sell for $55. I warned him, careful the expert in PA said they are for show only. LOL

Hv a good safe holiday with your family and send my best to your boy, yoter too. Ill be up north thursday hopefully its wet for wheelin.
