I recently had the e-brake hardware replaced, and now one of the wheel stud heads is hitting the top hat on the e-brake. Anybody have a similar issue, not too sure what to do

Someone recently had the same issue when they replaced their hardware with aftermarket hardware, it seems that some aftermarket hardware isn't an exact match to the OEM hardware and thusly can hit the back of the wheel studs.

Is it an aftermarket brake shoe issue?
I'm about to replace it too. Did you take pictures by chance? What aftermarket shoes you got? I was thinking about TRWs and they are ~10 times less expensive then OEM.

The guy who had the issue was me. I tried 3 aftermarket companies for hardware with no luck( Carlson, Raybestos, Wagner ). The issue is the holddown pins are close to 1mm too long. It does not pull the cup down far enough and hits the hub. You have to get the OEM pins and cups for it to work correctly.

Thank-you, I did use an aftermarket napa hardware kit. I thought something wasn't installed correctly, but the aftermarket parts makes sense

I had it happen on the one that's bent. I put something solid on the back of the pin and gave the cup side a whack or two to bring the C bend in a bit. If it's the other side, you could add a washer to the back side to shim it out.

There is some aftermarket Carmont kit TOY-00358-P (FB-11-04-C) that has the correct pins, but it is missing horse washers and the the bottom springs and the cap washer with bent end.
I had to mix it with the other set with wrong pins.
