Engine loaded up w/fuel after sitting 4 days

OK....We took a little family trip for a few days and when we returned, I go to pull my truck out of the garage and it won't start. It turns over but sounds like a timing belt issue. I go inside, came back out to try again, but this time it starts. It didn't want to but eventually it did and it sounded awful, smelled awful, smoked awful. It cleared up and starts back and runs fine now. Obviously, the cylinder(s) were loaded up with fuel from sitting. What would cause this? A faulty injector(s) maybe? That seems like the only logical thing to me. What do you guys think. Thanks.

I say fuel, but after Googling a ton, I'm hoping its not a HG issue. I don't think it is because I never have had to add any coolant to it, ever. Plus, it didn't smell sweet like coolant. Thanks Google, now I'm scared.

White smoke or black smoke?

Well, it was white. I know fuel burns black but it smelled way rich. It didn't have any hint of a coolant or sweet smell at all. I kinda jumped the gun on my thread title about it being fuel, it was the first thing I thought of because of the smell. But.....I checked my radiator this morning and sure enough, I had to add about 3/4 of a pint. So, unfortunately, I'm thinking it may be a very slow HG slow leak. If this is the case, what's the best way to go about locating the leak? On a leak this slow would it show up on the top of one of my pistons? I can pull the plugs in less than 10 minutes and maybe use a bore scope to see if I find a clean piston top. What would you guys suggest? Thanks.

I did that just last night after it was sitting for 4 days, which is the longest it will sit until next vacation. No antifreeze smell or anything, just overpowering rich fuel exhaust smell.

Wastegate had water in it too, smelled like water...again not coolant. Radiator level hasn't budged. I may bore scope it this weekend and see what I can see, just to ease my mind but I guess its business as usual for my DD.

Do a compression test of all cylinders. A good cylinder with have 175+ psi. Any cylinders that are low, do a leak down test of it. When the cylinder is pressurized, remove the radiator cap. If you see bubbles coming up, you have a bad head gasket. Also, if you have two cylinders next to each other that are low, the head gasket could have failed between the two cylinders.
