Engine replacement

How difficult is it to change an engine in a 3rd gen? (5VZ-FE) I know i can do it just want a heads up before I dive into it.

This may harder for first time. But if have tried this before then this may not look difficult for users.

It's one of those things that sounds a lot more intimidating than it actually is, but the process is not terribly difficult; it's a little time consuming the first time you do it, but as long as you remember where everything goes, (in my case, I took pictures of EVERYTHING when my buddy did his) it's not difficult. Having the crane hoist and an engine stand will make your life 100x easier! Good luck!
