Engine stall help

This has only happened twice in the last three months. The engine will stall when I gun it around a turn. Lucky for me I have been some where I can pull to the side and start the engine back up. It starts back up every time after the stall. She had fresh plugs and I wasthinking it was possibly a bad fuel filter. 99 sr5 4x4 with 187k.

I don't know how applicable this is to our 4Runners, but I had a 71 Camaro that a friend had built up that did the same thing if I cornered too fast. I sold it before confirming the cause, but I think it was a crappy oil pump or something along those lines.

Might be something to consider at least.

Nothing to do with your problem, but it did bring back a memory. I had a new Dodge that would quit every time a sharp turn to the right was made. A normal 90 degree turn was ok, but more than that would bring it on. It then wouldn't restart for about ten minutes. The dealer never was able to fix it and it still did that when I traded it in a couple of years later. It was my last Chrysler product.
