Engine stalls out at lower RPMS

I have a 2000 4runner 3.4L 5VZ-FE. While accelerating, if i floor the gas pedal the engine will stall out after i reach lower RPMS (drops below 1000, stalls out, will start back up but stalls out right away unless i constantly give it gas). I have been told it was the Vacuum seal. What are the scholars of T4R opinions? many thanks in advanced

I am guessing clogged fuel filter.

My runner does have 239,000 miles on it too, if that helps at all also. Was my parents, then i had bought it off them. I do believe that it is all original parts, other than standard maintenance.
