The thermostat is on the water pump. The colder the temp the longer the warm up right?

When you do your tune up don't forget to do the fuel filter too. Here is a write up.

BTW it was 4 degrees out this morning you might be waiting a while:D

mike nice post

thanks mike are you sure on the six cly, its not located on top its looks like a temp. housing to me , the picts are great you posted on the fuel filter, yesterday i got truck warmed up a little hotter and the idle got down to likw 1300rpm maybe 1200 but engine was still cold, i need to do complete tuneup but you are in pa and so am i am dean martin sang, baby it cold out side....i want to to most of the tune up myself as i am a new owner of the trk. to see how plugs are etc. but the the good side it runs really good but gas mileage is the worst i ever had and i had at least 100 cars...i just brought a new bmw and i still like this trk alot , paid 5k for it its the same color as your pict next to your post, looks like my twin truck. this is like my 10th toyota never a runner, but in fla. i used to sell them i must have sold 200 of them in 5 yrs,
i really like this truck even in a 5spd, i wanted auto but the deal was to good, i drove and auto. it was slow this trk has balls for a heavy trk, thanks again, hope we get real snow not ice
