ECT power: Electronically Controlled Transmission.

Basically makes it shift later so you can get to higher RPM before shifting, more power.

Not necessarily, I get better MPG with ECT on, in fact many others do as well. It's based on your driving style I suppose.

ESPECIALLY with oversize tires, it keeps the gears longer to get higher in the RPM range and almost makes the engine run as it should.
