Ever Heard of Chassis Unlimited?

They make a 1st gen Tacoma bumper that I'm kind of diggin. I like the simple design. Wondering if it'll fit on our 4Runners with modifications like the Trail Gear and the All Pro Apex bumpers. Here's the link.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit.
I use their battery box so yes I've heard of them before.

I have bought some misc fab parts from these guys, they seem like a pretty good outfit. I have also wondered if their Tacoma bumper would look good on a 3rd gen, post pics if you do it!

I just got a new Die Hard AGM group 34 battery and was actually looking at the Chassis Unlimited battery boxes as well. Which box and battery are you running? Cheers!

That same die hard platinum battery.
There is a pic of it somewhere in my build thread. It's a tight fit and takes some washers to space it out but it works perfect.

The Die Hard I got is actually the "Gold' AGM. As far as I know they don't make the platinum anymore. This is the one:

I'm just wondering if that battery box will fit my battery as well. I just cruised through your build. Didn't see the battery box but your truck and trailer is sweet.

Here is a pic of it. You will have the lengthen the wires as the posts are on the opposite side. Since then I've done the big three and the wires look better. You can see it just fits over the overflow tank.

It's not a factory battery and mine is an 02 limited idk if there are differences in other years.

How did u mount it so it doesn't move around. Because the OEM isn't a box

Sweet. I ordered one last night. The specs of the platinum and the gold that I got are pretty similar. Shouldn't have to do anything with wires as my battery is a 34r and has the terminals reversed. But I'll probably end up doing the big three at some point soon anyway. Thanks for the info man.

Drill a hole through the fender and put a bolt in it. I think I was able to get three of the 4 in. Use some washers on the backside for strength.

Well I got the battery box in. I'm not sure if the battery tray I received is a new model or just the wrong one but it's definitely different than the picture on their site and different then 4x4runner2002's. I didn't realize until after I got it installed. With some modifications it fits so I suppose I'm not worried about it. The rear bolts and nuts are just kind of a pain to get to.
