Exhaust question

Ok, I'm fabbing up a cat back pipe for my turbo build. I ordered 2.5" pipe and flange. I just realized the factory exhaust is 2.25. Will the 2.5 flange work with the smaller factory one? Or should I just use an adapter and get flange for 2.25 ? Thanks

Our pipe is an odd Toyota size, it's more like 2.40" if you measure it. You might be able to expand the pipe a little and make it work.

Hoping someone with a turbo will chime in if that will work or not.
