Extended Warranty

After owning the 4Runner would you advise an extended warranty for a new 07 SE with Nav, sunroof? I have a 97 4Runner had an extended warranty and never used it.

I got it, but I haven't had any issues with the 4Runner yet (knock on wood). For the cost of nav replacement, the electronic doo das (VSC, HAC, DAC, etc.), 4WD drivetrain, and moonroof, it was an easy decision. Not to mention my dealer offers a moneyback guarantee if I never make a claim on the warranty. That sealed the deal for me.

Same here, I have the Platinum 100mile warranty w/ zero deductible for my 06 limited w/nav for these same reasons. I went with a guy from Tundra solutions that was selling him for the same price as the guy on here. It was somewhere around $700 or so for the 6y/100k $0 deductible, I didn't get the 7 year since I will hit 100k way before then.
