Eyelids Look SWEET!

Well, since I have no life, I decided to do the cheap man's eyelids on the 4runner: Electrical tape! As far as I can tell, the high beams don't even shine through, but it is day light so I will wait until night to fine tune it. The light does escape between the grille and headlights, because I am too lazy to fix it. I am not sure if the cops will have a problem with it, I will ask next time I go to the fire house(the police station is right next door). So, here it is. On a white 4runner. I think if I didn't have the bug guard, the look wouldn't work, the bug guard ties it all together.

I had that on mine for a while without the bug guard but the tape didn't wanna stay on. I thought it looked cool, but I definitely like it better with the bug guard. I need to get me one of those!

Same here, that's one of the reasons I did it. Not finding very many threads about it. They don't seem to be messing with my high beams, but the lows are definitely cut off. That doesn't matter, my lows are cockeyed. I think I'll keep this on there, tape is removable, spraypaint not so much. Glad all of you like it, go ahead and post up pics if you have eyelids, I'd like to see them on different colors!

you can give your runner all kinds of emotions. but really if you want to do it, get some lamin-x, it will last a good while and look pretty good

I guess so lol. Didn't even think of doing it differently, but personally I like the way I did it, looks like my dad's '04 Silverado(aggressive, not crappy like a Chevy =) )
