Is there any way i can find out what options came on my runner from the factory? i got my runner 3rd or 4th hand, so i have no clue what specifically my ride is equipped with. Like a website or something where i can run the vin?

Thanks in advance

You can't get that much info just from decoding the VIN. As far as I know, the info in this artice gives you all you can get:

Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN codes)/Toyota/VIN Codes - Wikibooks, open books for an open world

The dealer can hook up to Toyota's database and get access to the build sheet. I don't know where else you can do that.

Yep. Go to the dealer service department, give them the VIN and they can print out a 'vehicle inventory report' including options, pricing, etc. (mine was $38219 new and was sold 11/24/2001).

Thanks guys. so my only choice is to go to the dealer for the vehicle inventory report?

Why do all this hoopla. You couldn't order anything for the 4runner that you don't already know you have.

5 speed
4 speed automatic
SR5
Limited (and its upgrades)
Sunroof
Elocker
4 cylinder
6 cylinder
8 cylinder
steel wheels
aluminum wheels
abs
roof rack
rear spoiler

and then the dealer installed options
vp alarm system
floor mats
trailer hitch
mud flaps
pinstriping
enki wheels
supercharger

I am sure that the brochure will tell what you 4runner came with.

but that is just my two cents.

Can go to Toyota.com. Register, enter your Vin, get build sheet.
