Just posting in your thread as I live near the Blue Ridge Parkway and looking forward to the change of colors. Just talked to wifey about maybe taking the 4 leg kids up there.

Also looking to reach that mysterious magic number where I can finally start a new thread....

Blue Ridge is beautiful when the color is peak. Hope to get there too!

You all are lucky to live in such an area, far cry from West Texas desert/cotton field where the change in season is measured by whether or not the cotton plant still has leaves

Blue Ridge Pkwy

We always vacation in the fall. Our "go to place" , about every other year is the Gatlinburgh area then head down to Fontana for a few days. Have thought several times about moving down to that area but with me and the wife's line of work , it wouldn't work out too good. Maybe when we retire. Yes you folks that live in that area are very blessed .

Took our last canoe trip of the 2 weeks ago in the Adirondacks in NY. Absolutely beautiful
