Harpoon gave me a free case and they converted me!!! Sierra is got some tough competiton these days.

#1 Guiness
#2 Various brands of Weiss Beer
#3 Harpoon (Used to be Sierra)

There was a Harpoon rep. at the brewery one day and I gave him a tour, anyway long story short he gave me a Harpoon hat and I wore it to work one day and my boss got pissed.:D

~Cheers

I refuse to believe such things...only until a case of Sierra shows up on my doorstep will I not give in to your lies!

:lmao:

A case of beer weighs a lot and is not very cost effective to ship. A T-Shirt is a little more realistic:cheers:

I have a few favorites. My first would have to Boulevard Wheat. Not my favorite in terms of overall flavor, but due to the fact that I can buy it locally and drink it all the time it makes me very happy. Beer number 2 would be Sunshine Wheat, and the 3rd would probably be White Rascal (notice a pattern?). Those two take a short trip to Arkansas to get, but luckily the 4runner can pack a lot of beer. But all and all I have never met a beer I didn't like.

I went to college in Golden, CO so guess what my favoite beer is...You guessed it, Coors (They don't call it Coors Original anymore, its just Coors). I also drink Coors Light and Blue Moon.

What did you expect? Golden bars have $1 pints of Coors and Coors Light during happy hour, how do I pass that up?

Also, inside the brewery is a large bar that serves 3 free 10 oz samples of any coors product. This is called the short tour, known affectionately to the college students as "Coors Lab".

Next time you're in CO make sure to make a stop to historic and beautiful Golden (the territorial capitol of CO before Denver) and visit the brewery and local bars for a good time.

Well I would have to say my cheap stand bys are coors light and Keystone light.
When i want a good beer I would have to actually list breweries not the actual beer.
Rogue brewery( I do live in the rogue valley)
Eel River
Lost Coast
Bridgport, makes a mean IPA
Wolavers makes a mean everything and organic
And beers like Steelhead and for those of you that like Guiness try Old Rasputin Imperial Stout from north coast brewery. Its expensive but its dark and thick with a nice flavor. Hey I do live in the land of microbrews, gotta love the Pacific North West.

there was this liquor near our college apartment that we used to go to for kegs for our partys. it was so cheap it didn't have a name, it just said "beer" on the keg. once we started getting fat, we switched over to light beer and that only said "light" on the keg. i asked the liquor owner what it was, but all the korean dude said was..."yeah, it good for you" it was probably watered down old beer. whatever, it was cheap and we had lots of it.

for now on, unless i know what the name is, where it was made, and who made it, i don't drink it.

Im enjoying some Sam Adam's Summer Ale as we speak.
That is definately one of my favorites... I'm thinking I have to go to the liquor store now....sounds pretty good.

I just got back from a business trip to San Francisco, and while I was there I had the local steamed beer. I can't remember what it was called, but I really liked it.

Oh, and normally, I like Bass and New Castle.

Thinking of Anchor Steam? One of my favorite beers!!

Recovering Alcoholic here, but I have 18 years of hard drinking behind me. I was also an extremely high-functioning alcoholic with a tolerance that allowed me to drink God under the table & they clocked my average BAC at .63 (yes, I've basically been the walking dead for a couple years). BUT, back in the day, for taste, it went: Newcastle, XXXX (Australian for AWESOME), Harp, Guinness, Victoria Bitter (Australian for AWESOME), no Canadian beer...I married a Canadian & that's enough for me

Just to get drunk cheaply: Bud Light, Cass, OB

& trust me, I had to usually get drunk cheaply at 40-46 beers a day! I miss it almost every day, especially with the weather warming up. I envy you folks that don't go batshit with your drinking. But, those of you who can handle it, DEFINITELY get a hold of the 2 Aussie beers I mentioned & you won't be disappointed. Cheers

Bud Light, Corona. Like a lot of microbrews too, esp wheat ales. St. Ambrose Apricot wheat ale, Rickard's White (though a bit heavy), Pumphouse Blueberry Ale. Tried a wheat ale from the NYC area when I was there in summer 2012 but can't remember what it was called- brewed in Brooklyn I believe.

Tried Yuengling when I was down in the DC area last summer and that wasn't too bad either!
