Very nice, you know I didnt like the Borla when I first saw it, but it does look good. Would love to hear it. I had one on my 06 Range rover sport and loved it. If you get a chance post some sound clips. Congrats on the win.

Wow, is all I can say biggrin2: , I never expected to be T4ROTM. Thank You so much for all the great comments. Also a big thank you to all the moderators for picking me and running such a great site.

As far as whats next for mods I am not really sure. I really don't do much off roading. I have thought about the front leveling kit and the wheel spacers and upsizing the tires when they need to be replaced. I am open to ideas.

I will work on the video of the exhaust, but it has been raining and it looks like it will be all week, but I WILL do it.

Hey thats a nice set up with the Scion stereo. What did you do to make it work?
I have an 2003 Sport with the JBL system, but would like to upgrade to that Scion look. Did you have to change plastic piece holding the face plate from the Scion also?

First of all thanks. Second the Scion stereo sounds so much better than the stock unit, and being able to control of the IPOD is great. I never listen to the radio any more. All I had to do to make it work was to plug it in. It is same size as the original and just replaces it. I did loose the use of my AUX plug (I think there is a fix somewhere on the forum).

For you (someone correct me if I am wrong) since you have the JBL you have a different trim piece and that will not work with the standard stereo. Also I don't think that Scion stereo is even combatable with the existing JBL system, but I don't know that for sure. I did not start with the JBL system so mine was plug and play. Maybe someone can chime in that knows more.

The suspension is all stock. I was looking at the cornfed front leveling kits today. I think that is something I may look into.

I would love to get out to some trails and such I think that is something I would like to get into this spring and summer. There is a place about an hour from me so I will looking forward to getting out there soon.

This is my first vehicle that is not a car so I have never really be exposed to trails and off road places. Any suggestions on places to go and things to do would be awesome. I am in Santa Rosa, CA witch is about and hour North of San Francisco.

I'm not too familiar with Nor Cal trails but there is a group called TTORA that you can look up - I would imagine the same group runs occur as it does here in SoCal.

More new pics!!!

Today I got new Floormat's. They are for a Tacoma. I had to relocate one of the clips that keeps the driver side from moving. Other than that they fit just fine. I have been wanting to get these sinse the OEM grey ones always look dirty.

I also got around to taking pictures of the HU.

I realize this is a fairly old post but I'm interested in the Borla exhaust. Any chance of taking a photo of where the pipe on the gas tank side is routed. Would it interfere with a larger than stock spare tire 275/65/18 being mounted where the stock tire goes? Was it worth it or is it jsut another toy mod?

I know this is a really old question but I never got around to it. Yes it's worth it. Did it make any more power I don't know but it sure sounds good. I think there is room for a bigger spare tire. I have stock size so I don't know for sure. The pipes are all on the right side of the truck the go over the axle and cross over to the left.

So this weekend I gave the 4Runner some love. I installed the Toyota BlueLogic Bluetooth. This kit is really cool it works great and looks totally factory except for the microphone but I think I put it in a place that will not bother me too much. I put it on the bottom of the Driverside A piller. Also the lights for the buttons are blue (maybe an orage LED will fix this).

Then I installed the Daystar 1" leveling kit and Spidertrax wheel spacers. Over the Summer I also got the Bridgestone Revo2's P265/65R17. May be next time I will go for bigger tires. I think the lift and wheel spacers are the best thing I have done to the truck. It changes the look for the better in such a big way. The whole truck just looks meaner. Now the pictures.
